“Let It Go” is a dub-inspired back porch anthem; an African sun-drenched shuffle within the hypnotic swing of the hammock. Grounded in a hip-hop sensibility, part singing, part speaking, part flying, the melodies enter you at the level of speech, the level of the heart. Intimate, haunting, with that feel good summertime vibe Speech says “I’m often torn between what I want and what I need but God is telling me let it go, let it go…” One comes away feeling refreshed, informed, inspired, and happy to be a divine citizen of the earth. This track can also be found on Unreleased Jewels if you want to go direct to the AD source, but since AD is down with the charity, it's worth looking into at the David Lynch site as well to see if you're interested in helping out.
